i swaped a LS motor in my 82 c10, not very difficult. just do some reading so you wont be clueless when you start. to drop the motor in you need some motor adapter plates like the dirty dingo mounts. need an electric fuel pump, i had to get my driveshaft shortened, you can use the harness you have just have it reoworked, and the pcm tuned.

Thanks for all your inputs. What headers have ya'll found to work with my combo (2wd)? Luckily, Nelson's is 20 minutes down the street to help with the tune.
I believe nelson performance sells schoenfeld headers that will work. fbody headers also work with little work.
