    Question Interior help

Ok I'm done with the hard part on my truck by doing to motor swap and now I can start thinking about the interior.

My question is should I just do the normal 98 interior swap in my 89?

Or should I jump out on the limb and do what I know not many ppl have done and do an 03 dash in my truck with 03 gauges and everything, but my question is if I do the 03 dash would it still look funny with out all the 03 trim panels ( door panels, kick panels, a pillar, ect)

    Any thoughts are welcome

Keep the stock interior. Replace parts that need replacing. That dash and door panels are cool IMO. And if you want to do something a little special and spend a little green, do some nice aftermarket gauges in a billet panel. You can do the same with the stereo area. It's very easy to do and looks sweet.

    I LOVE THIS

And you could do it like this too, although this is the newer interior...

Or this, but not with these low end gauges...

Or digital... although this interior looks cheap because of all the paint.

i like those interiors to, there awesome its just my opinion the 98 interiors look and flow better than the 89s boxy interior and just like the layout of the newer dashes ( more gauge options Factory and aftermarket, more stereo options dbl din, single din with gauges underneath ) but it would still retain the factory look im going for.

It does look awesome and is more appealing for someone looking for that... uhm... "classier" may be the word I'm looking for. I think the OBS interior looks more "hotrod". I may sound like I'm talking out of my ass. Just always seemed that way to me. I miss my 69's interior. All painted with black leather...
