    6.0l swap in obs z71

hey guys i am new to the site. i think i have read every article on the site about doing the ls swap. i can get my hands on a 2006 trailblazer ss 6.0l tranny awd case. computer wiring and dbw stuff. i have looked and looked and evrybody only seems to be doing 2 wheel drive trucks. my main concern is will the transfer case off my 700r4 bolt directly up to the 4l65e? so i can use the same front and rear drive shafts. if the tranfer case wont mate what tranfercase would i need to keep the manual floor shift? my final question is about the mounts. everyone keeps saying the use different one but which ones will keep the motor in the same postion so i do not have to change the mounts on my crossmember for the transmission. and my last question is i know changing from 2wd to hwd you have to change the tail stock and output shaft. but changing from awd to 4wd would i just have to change the cases?
    the truck is a 1989 gmc sierra 1500 z71 with a 5.7l and 700r4

Your stock t case should bolt up. And no you dont have to change the output shaft.

The only problem I can think of you will have is that the 4l65 is longer than a 700r4 IF I remember correctly. I ended up using a 4l80 in mine so I had to change crossmember mounting and t case input and driveshaft lengths adjusted.

I stand corrected the 4l65 is shorter than a 700. check out the "b" dimensions. http://www.tciauto.com/Products/Tech...bles_print.htm But Im not sure if the transfer case adapter will make up the difference or not.
