    best budget minded timing chain set?

    cam swap time is coming up and since the 5.3 has 110k on it and im there whats the best budget minded timing chain set? power goals for this motor are not crazy (bolt on/ls6 cam/tbss intake with tb/ and maybe up to 100 n20 jet) looking on flybay i found this, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...item4ceec90a3b

    LS2 Chain set is cheap easy and a good upgrade. Not sure if the ebay one is legit or not.

    That looks like a pretty nice set IMO. And it's adjustable.

    Ls2 timing chain. When I was researching I found it's the best all around quality and price.

    thanks for all the reply's, i looked at the ls2 set and it looked good but i ended up going with a ROLLMASTER double roller timing set i found on ebay for 90$ shipped (w/ ebay coupon)

    You may have to shim your oil pump with that double roller, keep that in mind when doing the swap.
