As long as he staged within 7 sec of his opponet it's a legit run

Spike isnt NO dummy by any means, he knew he had NO chance against the S10, thats why he used his strategy, he knew he had 7 seconds to stage, he used all of it, its not his fault the S10 staged early!!, kinda sux you use stategy then end up being called a cheater wtf gives! bottom line the S10 got caught in Spikes Strategy and unstaged.

from SARs website: courtesy staging: the first racer to the light ( S10 ) the pre-stage bulb, must wait for their competitor (spike) to light the other pre-stage bulb.the first racer (S10) may then perform thier final staging maneuver.

i find the rules vague i'll grant this, if the owner did tell spike he had 7 seconds which thats what it seemed like, then spike was well into using everything possible within the rules to win.
    Simple: 408 on steroids!

It was 9 seconds according to my data log! I would have still beat him if the starter had not called the pass off. It's a 7 second courtesy at every track, rules don't change. 2 burnouts are not allows once the other racer is already in the lights. They new exactly what they where doing and it was bullcrap. What you call strategy is cheating plain and simple. Come to Dallas, we don't play bullcrap games here. That is an official call out!

If they didn't want a non ls1 truck to win, they should have made it the fastest ls1 only shootout. It was obvious to me that there where people there that did not want me to win.

I got a couple vids of the S10...pretty shi**y vids though.

I got there and watched a couple of passes before I got out there...made me not want to run really

But I did get some consistent base times to compare to when ever I get the 5.3 in my truck.
I ran a 16.9 @79 MPH on both passes...so yeah I was the slowest chevy out there

I had some pretty bad reaction times but not bad for the 1st time ever getting out on the track IMO

The 5.3 outta help me shave a couple of seconds off that time

I was the silver OBS with black rims in case any of y'all saw my run

    95 C1500 LM7, built 4L60e, Circle D 3200, LT's, Nelson tune, open differential, 3.42, and LS1 e-fans. Tractionless

Im sorry u feel that way. Congrats on beign the fastest truck. As unfair as it may seem they got both the drivers of the truck and explained that the run was reviewed by the officials and said it was a good run but they asked if we would run again to put a good show and because it was going to be televised. We both agreed and i lost. I had a great time though. And i will make the trip to dallas so we can race again.
