long tubes into the stock dual 3" exhaust on an HD

i have a cracked manifold, so i bought some pace setters to install instead of putting crap manifolds back on it. i'm going to run them straight into the stock dual 3" catback through the muffler. how much torque am i going to lose without a crossover? or should i be ok?

    it's an 03 2500HD 2wd 6.0 ECLB, and i dont pull very often. however, when i do pull, it's a 40' RV in excess of 13,000lbs

i'm also looking to trade my 317s for some 243/799s and get a small cam. ~216/220. that's pretty much all i'm doing to do to it since it's my DD and i need to keep the gas mileage above 12. lol

Not sure if u thought about this but the driver side exhaust pipe crosses over right under the bellhousing at the front and ur header will be back a little farther...

yea the 2wd has enough room to play a little. it even has enough room to build a 2.5" x pipe setup, but that's a topic for later.

None. They have a 'crossover' per-say in the muffler. Its not a true dual setup, just 2 pipes into the muffler, then one pipe out.

it's 2 in and 2 out then it Y's after the muffler. having the merge that far back doesnt do anything for scavenging, just creates a restriction.

For towing with the stock converter, consider the comp cams LSx 212/218 high lift cam. It will provide the low rpm power you need.

IMO you're gonna be better off going with a single 3" exhaust. Get the pacesetter long tubes and 3" ORY and just do a single exhaust. With a stock 6.0 youre no where needing dual 3" exhaust. It will kill all that low end you're looking for.
