    Smoked lights?????

    Im tossing the idea around, but im not sure what kinda paint to use also do i need to spray clear coat or how do ya do it? i was thinking krilon paint a bunch of light coats and like 4- light clear coats??? ne1 ever done it?

    my friend just did his tails and he found spray on tint, not sure what its called, its more or less black and clear mixed spray paint, but it looks really good. he put on too many coats and they are really dark but still looks really good. i think he got it at autozone.
    procharger p1sc, nelson tune, 42# marine injectors, walbro 255, lt's, ory, 4" volant cat back, PerformaBuilt level 2 pro race trans, trans. cooler with e fan, 2500 stall, aem wideband, energy bushings, spohn perf. trailing and panhard rods, mb & gear alloy 22's ( ya 2 sets, im big ballin), ss brake lines, drilled & slotted rotors, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla,
    and ya it will beat a hemi.

    Nightshade... it turns purple eventually. Not a good idea.

    I did mine with a spray on tint from rustoleum. Scotch brite the hell out of em. Mine turned out really nice. Got a ticket today for em though lol.

    Night shade is orielly brand its junky autozone kind is good mine were pretty much legal as u get... Only two lite coats

    black candy is what my buddy used on mine, he used to use just black base coat

    i just used the night shades on mine real careful with the coats and a few coats of clear they turned out real nice i had them that way for about 2 yrs til i got tired of them and changed them back but mine never turned purple that i could tell ive heard people say theyve had that problem though.. but honestly if your looking for something cheap i had good luck with nighshade but mine were usually covered with dirt anyways

    I've had good luck with the Nightshades too. I smoked and clear coated my tails about a year ago and they still look good.

    Hehe I did too couple weeks ago. A lady in a beamer zoomed by me goin well above the speed limit but pulled my truck over instead! Made me mad. But I've used Nightshades and it does seem purple. So I went with regular black paint.

    If you have access to real paint, there are several ways to do it, and it will look WAY better and last longer. Some people mix base with DBC500(PPG brand). I personally over reduce the base coat, using regular black. Get it to desired darkness and 3-4 coats of clear.
