So I bought a gallon of sem hotrod black again, and a hvlp gun, ive painted the hood and the tailgate, and its laying down really well, but im noticing a few stripes like its lighter in one area, can someone tell me how to fix this. Do I need to adjust the way the paint comes out or adjust how much paint is spraying, I know theres a few painters so lemme know, I tried pming daniel but his box is full.

your getting tiger stripes. when you spray look at your fan pattern, you want to overlap half way on your next pass.

I can count on one hand how many panels I've painted, but I've had good luck with a 4" fan 4" from the surface, a 50% overlap on color, 75% on clear.
