    1998 5.7 vortec 1998 ls1 swap

let me go ahead and get this out of the way... i know someone might tell me that what i need is on another thread but i have looked and seen some good threads but not what im looking for. i have a 1998 formula with the whole drive train and i want to put the ls1 in my 1998 5.7 vortec silverado and was wondering how much of a pain and how much time i am looking at and along with all of that what other modifications am i going to have to do to the lines i.e. tranny, oil ect. would i also be able to use stuff out of the formula like throttal cable and other things of that nature? any and all help would be greatly apreciated.

you should be able to use the throttle cable out of the truck, you should be able to reuse your tranny lines, and I think your power steering lines can be made to work as well. I know that you will prolly have to do a bit of modification on your fuel lines though. That and lots and lots of wiring. If you need to know more I can send you a link to my question thread...the guys on here gave me a TON of helpful info that will help with your swap as well.
