I have been given the opportunity of trading my 05 Sierra ext cab for an 06 Sierra Denali. I love the idea of going from the 5.3 to the 6.0 but I don't really want the AWD all of the time. How difficult will it be to change it to 2wd?

If you're going to get the new 06 Sierra Denali, don't start hacking it up. Just look for something that is 2wd that would fit your tastes. It would be 10,000 times easier to buy somethin 2WD then convert it.

Well its official!
I did trade off my 05 Sierra. I am now the proud owner of the payments for a 2006 Silverado Crew Cab Vortec Max 4x4 w/ 36.5k miles.
