Thanks for all the replies. Keep them coming. I'm thinking I might run 4.56's because I have 31.6" tires. With my current 65e and 3.73 rearend I am at about 1950 at 70. I just bought an 80e today. Damn Stunna I bet your truck is pretty squirly with that rear/tires!

The difference between winning and losing, is having a 2nd stage.
2500 sounds a little steep for me but I just checked my tires I actually have 255/75r17's (32.1") I thought I had 265/70r17's for some reason.
I just came up on a used set of G2 4.10 r&p (about 5k miles). It was a straight trade for some stock 3.73's I had laying around.
My stock tires were 245/70r17 so if I weren't to do the 80e swap, in order to get to my stock rpm range through out the gears I would need:
Current gear*Upgraded tire size/Original tire size=needed rear end ratio
3.73*32.1/30.5=3.92 So running a 4.10 will make my truck run at a little higher rpm with my 65e. Now that I am in the process of doing the 80e swap I know my final drive will be at an even higher rpm do to the 80e's .75 final drive compared to my 65e's .70 final drive. I think the 4.10's will definately help out the 80e's first gear 2.48 though. I have trouble with traction with the 65e's 3.06 first gear but then again I have a stock one wheel peel. we'll see how it goes
