    LS1 Swap from 5.3 into 06 Sierra

If you guys havent heard already Im picking up Jeremy's LS1 on friday and need to ask a few questions about the swap?

Since Im only doing a longblock swap and keeping the stock truck intake manifold.....will everything bolt up correctly as far as the accessories/mounts go? Sending my tune to allen to get it running then off to SA for the turbo build. It has no cam in it and Im going to swap the 216/220 .525/ .534 114LSA Comp cam from the 5.3 I had in it for about 10k miles and the beehive springs and then some pushrods....I ran 7.4s last time and had no issue. Ive just always been under the impression it was only a longblock swap and thats it...but I just wanted to make sure.

I appreciate yalls advice, Im new to the game on turbos

yep just finished my swap close to a month ago everything bolted up exaclty...itll be even easier since your using the truck intake. that was the only issue i had since i swapped to the ls6 intake. Oh and the a/c compressor bracket didnt bolt up exactly the same as the 5.3 but but the a/c still works and functions well.. Good luck with the swap!!!
