    I vote 6.0 heads for a few reasons....

    Larger cc will drop compression close to 9.0:1.
    Larger 2" intake valve
    Same castings a LS6 heads just larger cc

    If you work the heads over you will lose boost which is okay as you will be more efficient at the same boost levels.

    Lets say you have 8spi with 5.3 heads. If you strap ported 6.0 heads on you will drop to around 6-6.5 psi. Then add a smaller pulley to get back to the same 8psi and make more power at the same psi!

    That 212/218 would be a kick ass blower cam. I'd go for a 214/220 that is my favorite all over power cam grind. The larger exhaust duration would help pull exhaust gasses out the cylinders faster making more power.
