Some inconsiderate piece of $hit was nice enough to leave a big door-ding and some of their white paint on my wife's black Acura yesterday. Does anyone know what to use to easily get the other car's paint smear off?

i hate when lazy ass people just fling thier doors poen in to other cars , that why i park in the back, i would try a rag with some solvent called GOOF OFF, IF THAT DOESNT WORK, i guess try to buff it out, good luck, i hope the person who dinged your door gets his smashed 10 times worse!

thats happened to my wifes tahoe a couplt times. depending on how bad it is, a good wax will at least lighten it up some. I had to do it before.
Comet cleanser on a damp cloth then polish.

You might try some rubbing compound. That has worked for me before.

I agree with the claybar, I have one and works great on paint or overspray and won't scratch the paint if it's clean. If you drop in the dirt or concrete and it picks up particles, either tear that piece of clay off or throw it away. You'll also want to use it in a back and forth motion not a swirl.
Good luck!

My dads truck had some paint over spray and I use a claybar, works great but will take some time.I then put 2 coats of Poorboys on afterwards cause a claybar will strip the wax off. When you use a claybar be sure to keep the paint very well lubricated with either water or some meguires quik detailer, you do not want it dry or just damp to where the clay bar will drag on the paint.
i work at a carwash and detail and i would just try some bug/tar/adhesive remover of some sort such as the goof off, and if that doesnt get it clay bar it and make sure you rewax the area or the whole thing while you at it
