Tcc?

What is TCC? I put a 2002 5.3/4L60E into my 87 Chevy Truck. Was having issues with it bogging bad at acceleration. I hooked up the wire for TCC to constant hot and now everything works fine got all the power in the world, does great. So does this lock up the torque converter? Will it hurt for the torque converter to stay locked up all the time while doing daily driving? I belive this should hook to the break pedel so when you press the break pedal is unlocks the converter is this correct??

It bogged bad because it was running in second gear. The tcc wire supplies 12v to the entire trans. Yes power should come from the brake pedal to release the torque convertor clutch during braking.
