Stay away from texas performance transmissions! Fraud, false advertisment!

ok guys i myself am now on my 3rd rebuld from these people, taken it back 5 times for shifting problems, and am now again left stranded due to complete transmission failure blowing up on me at 60 mph on the freeway and almost causing me a severe accident broke my slip yoke and my drive shaft almost taking out my turbo. all this within 6 months now.longest it lasted was just under 2 months.

I have had it with these people and i know theres many of you on here who have had the same issues ive had, just take a look at these links and if your a victim of them please get a hold of me as i will be proceding with a lawsuit of this so called "transmission shop"

Man that sucks but to be competly honest that is a LOT of weight for that transmission to pull and get moving and some pretty big tires so u really can't expect that weak transmisson to hold because even a fully built one can only hold 600 hp and that's in a light car u but the same one in a 7000 lb truck it WONT last with my kind of power trust me I've gone through 5 before I did a 4l80e that is the only way u will ever get that truck to not go through trannys like crazy They are more expensive and it does take some work to get it in there but it is totally worth it

I know the 80e is the way to go now, but these people Guaranteed it to hold with no problems, funny thing is every single issue ive had was from normal everyday driving. none of it was from WOT runs. gteran knows exactly what im going through as his has had the same problems if not more than mine has. They even burned up my old Garrett T-60 turbo from not isntalling my ypipe correctly and trying to cover it up by stuffing washer after washer ont he header to y pipe bolts they stripped ,only one out of 6 was removable, the others they crossthreaded so bad they had to be cut off and all 6 studs had to be replaced ,when they did the transmission and driving it god knows where ,and cost me over $1000.00 out of my own pocket for a new turbo. So far with all 3 wrecker bills, muffler shop bills, and all this transmission has cost me right over $3000.00

ok i well i tore down the valve body of my 4l60e to see what this so called shift kit was that they installed, well here is what i saw
1-2 and 3-4 accumulator spring completly removed
ONE check ball is yellow and bigger(think its a torlon ball)
looks like they drilled my valve body plate

this is what i see so far, this thing shifts incredibly harsh at any rpm ,im talking neck snapping and dash rattling hard, it was unberable.

anything else i should look for that they may have done?could he have turned up the pressure manually anyhow or is it all pcm contolled? Im going to correct this and purchase a trango ,
i do not want the shift to be crazy hard as it is a daily driver, do yall think trango-Hd2 kit is a good buy for my daily driving needs?

also anyone know a good place to get a extended slip yoke? just noticed my trucks yoke only goes into the tail maybe 1-2 inches if that

thats strange considering a lifted truck needs a shorter drive shaft, and also i would have not opened up your trans if you are tryin to sue them now they can claim that you tampered with it...

i believe its opposite, the lower the truck the more the yoke goes in the trans,
higher the the truck the more the yoke comes out of the tailshaft.

I have to do something to get my truck back, i cant let it sit for 6 or more months waiting on small claims court . its my only truck and my mode of transportation and i do not have spare money to pay another shop to build it,and my wifes honda accord isnt exaclty tow worthy lol.

this isnt my first round with a small claims issue, sometimes they take up to a yr or more to resolve

when you lift a truck you need a longer driveshaft.. there isnt a longer slip yoke, you are going to have to get a custom shaft built.. around 300 for a steel shaft all new, or around 400 for a aluminum, both balanced, just need your slip yoke..

yep thats me i had my trans rebuilt by them like 7 or 8 times in 6 months. i'm talking to a guy on HPT thats fixin to sue them....
i posted on like 4 different forums about them

had circle d tear apart trans and none of the cluthes i purchased were installed, no beast sunshell, no aluminum acc. pistons, no vette servo....

all i can say is that their lucky we didnt sue them or go beat their asses. first time i got it rebuilt by them the pump was broken the whole time and they tried to blam it on me installng the vette servo not properly and burning all clutches
