Questions about buying a Shortblock
Hey Fellas,
Been gone for a while, getting back into pimping out my truck, since I just destroyed my second 4L60E I am now on the hunt to build a motor and trans.
There is a guy who has an 08' LQ9 out of a 2500, he says that it came from a GM dealer, where it broke a connecting rod due to hydrolocking the motor....
Obviously the block could be completely trashed, is there anything super obvious to look for besides, cylinder walls and crack in the block?
