I just bought a new 2010 Silverado ECSB. I had to leave my HID's in my 2004 when I traded it in which isn't that big of a deal. My question is, with the 2010, the daytime running lights are the low beams with reduced power. How would this work with a new set of HID's? Will the lower power damage the ballasts or will having the HID's on all the time hurt anything. Anyone have them in a NNBS with pics?
2010 Silverado ECSB LS 4x4. Only mods so far are a K&N drop in filter and a Rough Country 2" front level kit

Just replied to your other thread... pull the DRL fuses under the hood, I can get a pic later if you really need it. I've got 12,000k kits from DDM in both my lows and fogs... Here you go.

Thanks bartjo06. Looks good! Does pulling that fuse effect the automatic lights or only the DRL's?
If you want to keep them as DRLs just install a relay harness. That will make sure the ballasts have the proper voltage.

It only effects DRLs, you'll still have automatic lights.
