Any update on this?
I work offshore so progress is slow compared to most...
Latest Update:
Sent engine harness and computer to Current Performance. They are having difficulties with the tuning from the stock ecm. Purchased a bracket for relocating the ac to the upper passenger side from the same company. Waiting on shipping for all that.
Removed all panels, cab, and bed, dropped fuel tanks, dropped rear end, removed all fuel/brake lines in preparation for sand blasting.
Then the rain started.
Attempted to rough mount engine, camaro oil pan does not clear. New pan on the way.
Bought ALL new interior. 200 sq.ft dynomat, really cool 40/20/40 seats from discountvantruck.com
new rebuilt stock steering column, looks brand new.
All my exterior trim came in, grill, bumper, lights, rubber, etc.
If this rain ever stops I'll finish the chassis and mount the driveline before I go back offshore.
I live in southern Louisiana so I have a foot of water in my yard right now, swamping my work area.
I'm posting from my iPhone, I'll put some pics up of all the goodies in a little while
Hey Justin, what did you ever do about the frame?

man, i apologize. I thought i replied to that question about the frame. I'm going with the curent frame. I measured the wheel base on each side and they were equal. I'm going to beef up those weld where its sectioned once it gets back from the sandblaster.
Can anyone give any opinions, good or bad, about these air-over-leaf suspension get-ups? I'm considering going this route for my rear suspension. My axle is flipped and frame is c-notched, but i intend to haul my boat when the wife complains about using "her car" ('10 Tahoe). I hear they work well when stiffening for a heavier load.
I like them, put in a couple sets. They work pretty good.

Those work pretty good. I install wheelchair lifts in vans and put the Air-Lift bags on some vehicles w/good results but IMO and this is just my humble opinion, an active suspension is better and you don't have to keep an eye on the pressure of air bags. I install the Roadmaster brand http://www.activesuspension.com/ and have had good results.
Glad to hear that you have the frame situation under control. I've been tempted to take mine to get blasted and powdercoated but not tempted enough I guess.
But I'm thinking they won't work on your truck since you're notched and flipped though. Just thinking outloud

IM notched and flipped and they work great for me. Ive had them on there for years and with about 15-20lbs, it rides great, and at higher pressures it carries stupid heavy loads. I just used the little compressor-it takes a while when you have a load on it, but I dont carry loads that often so it wasnt a big deal.
nice, thanks for the input fellas
Got the frame back from paint. Everything's about to start going back on. I didn't originally plan on stripping it down this far, but its gonna pay off.
A couple of problems i've come across...
I got the a/c relocation braket by Kwik Performance, purchased from Current Performance, but it does not fit on the LS3. Hopefully they'll refund me. Anyone out there know if there's a kit for a LS3?
I have to build a custom trans cross member. It will be made out of 2" square tubing. I think 1/4" wall thickness should suffice. I'm going to make two saddles for the exhaust to fit through.
Today, i'm blasting and painting the control arms and spindles. Might get to the rear end, depends on how many beers are left
that's all for now....
