    Rear seat lifts

Just trying to get some ideas as far as what people are using for seat lifts. I don't think I'll need much...an extra inch or 2 maybe...the mounting depth of the sub is 6.5" and I'm gonna do a downfire with a ported box a little over 2 cubes.

So anyway what are y'all using?

I saw a guy that used some 2" c-channel. It was stood upright and had studs welded to the top and holes drilled in the bottom. I think he left the center strap hanging. Unless you really wanted to keep it, I see no need in making a bracket for it. Mine got in the way of my amp, so out it came.

I cheated on mine, i cut wooden blocks and proped up my box and layed the seat on it... it dont really pop the seat up that high and it still latches, but id say get some 2in square tubing cut holes threw it it would be pretty strong too

I was thinking about maybe using some washers to achieve the necessary lift.

You're going to need more than just washers with a 6.5" mounting depth+ full xmax+ magnet clearance in the box.

You would be surprised how much room I can create with the washers...just need a few threads on the bolt to beable to grab. I could get a full 2" with washers. And I could even get longer bolts and do that.

How many cubes is your box mikey? And what's the dimensions of it?

And yes I AM expecting you to list exact measurements off the top of your head.
