i'll start a thread on the 84 when the s10 is done. there is a ton of stuff planned for her.

took her through emissions last night and got her to pass the 3rd time I went. I forgot to re-enable some codes I took out when I first had her running. the lady at the emissions place made me laugh. she opened up the gas door to check my gas cap and its no longer there. but she just started searching in the gas door like it was just hideing from her or something. she looked at me like i had a third eye when I pulled it out of the bed.

there was a few kids that were working there that kept pointing at my truck and talking to eachother. finally one of them came over and asked if it was 4 linked. and I told him it was just the link style bars. I talked with him a little while and he told me he loved the truck and it sounded great, I guess he had a 99 dakota r/t with a 408 in it. I went to ask him more about his truck but he got called back to work.

I need wider rubber, when I get her to stick in 1st she loses traction again when she hits 2nd. and she is still untuned for the most part, all I have done is adjust the shift points and pressures. but luckily the stock engine tune is keeping me at a safe AFR, I'm picking up a new battery for my laptop and am going to start tuning the engine this weekend. I want to get her to the track but I dont think i'll be able to this weekend, but I will soon. If I dont hit 12s i'll be adding a wet shot, I might add one anyways just for kicks and killing turbos.

more pick and vids to come. I can promise a good tire smoking burnout this weekend, hopefully track vids next weekend.

Nice clean build!! I've done a ZZ4 350 swap, 400SB swap, and my newest creation.....a 24v Cummins. That LS looked like it came in the Super10. Let me know if you need help on the C10 build. I know a thing or 7 about it

thanks! a 24 valve cummins huh? that sounds like some frame twisting fun.

Well the burnout is a day later then I said it would be but I just got her tags today, I was 2 minutes late on friday so they wouldnt let me take a number at the dmv. but all is good now and she will now be my daily. which means its time to start the new project :secret:

    the tire fryin fun

    and the aftermath!

the tune needs work but is safe. I keep an eye on everything with my scanner and wideband. no knocking anf afr is 14.4-14.8 at idle and 14.5 on the throttle 12.0 at WOT. I know once I lean her out just a hair and get the timing set she will be a beast.

after these tires are gone i'll be rocking some wider tires, maybe some drag radials on the rear, these dont keep traction too well.
