    1992 Chevy C1500 5.3L carb build!!

Hey guys i started this build last year in january and its comin along really good. its taking me awhile becuase of money. but its finally getting close to being done. I built the motor myself its the first motor ive built from a bare block. the motor is a 5.3 bored .030 over, .030 over forged pistons, stock crank and rods, 2002 z06 cam, ported and polished 862 heads, ls6 valve springs, stock rockers and valves, edelbrock performer rpm intake, holley 750 cfm double pumper carb, msd 6ls ignition control, and hopefully headers and spray coming soon. im running a built th350 behind it with a b&m shift kit, and a 2500 stall. my rearend is the stock rearend but i put a limited slip diff in it from a 96 impala ss, but im still running the stock 3.42 gears.

    alright here are the pics.

SWEEEET truck...I like your wheels. I want some Coys in gray. Did you find a good deal on them or pay the big bucks?

thanks guys. and yeah i did pay the big bucks for the wheels. the only recommendation i have is dont get them with any chrome on them. there chrome is week and flakes off over time. im gonna buy the gray ones in a little bigger size when the motor swap is done.

    Nice truck!

Would be nice to swap in a 4L80 while you're at it.

Love it, Love it, Love it! Very clean truck, have the same body style! What kind of drop did you use? Post some real numbers when you can have always wondered about the carb'd LS's
