To answer the question, yes...an 08 or 07 or...can have a 4L60E no matter what anyone here says no matter the year or engine size or vehicle weight IF you call all M30's 60's, all M32's 65's, and all whatevers 70's. The fact remains there is hardly a difference in strength between a 60 and 70...there are more differences by year and what are common failures. Buy the Vette kit from OPT off eBay (cheaper) and get a billet 4th piston somewhere if you want that.
