for everyone running the pacesetter camaro headers what are you doing for shift linkage? i am running the pacesetters and the linkage hits the collector. i'm going to make it work eventually just wondering what you all have done.

hey guys i have a set of lsxtream headers i have a set of the original ones infact i was the first on this site to post about them. they are very good looking headers. my driver side did come close to the frame but like he said they resolved that issue. the only problem you may have is the driver side primary hitting the lower control arm now remember alot of that has to do with what motor mounts u used i made my own and ended up just scooting my engine back a couple inches and cleared up the issues. some conversion mounts make the engine set higher and don't have the problem, I think he is selling them for about 300.00 buck for the trucks. ps my truck is a 67 but im pretty sure its the same frame all the way up to 87
Where did you buy the headers from, and what are the pipe & collector sizes? I'm swapping a 6.0 in my '68 C10 with Early Classic LSx engine swap mounts, and am needing info on headers that will fit. I'm not opposed to doing a slight ding to clear the grease zert on the lower control arm shaft, but I've seen some pretty big hack jobs on frame rails and or on the primary pipes to get things to clear.
Any info on the headers you bought, and where you bought them from would be appreciated. Pics would be nice too
P.S. 73-87 frames are WAY different from 67-72 frames though, that much I do know.
Thanks
Hey when did you get a hold of the lsxtreme guys cause i have tryed and have got nothing back... Im not bashing on them i just want some good headers for a reasonable price
