Sold the Formula Now I need to get going on the truck. I've done nothing so far except 2" lowering shackles in the back. With nothing fun to drive anymore, I have to get the 200k 4.3 out asap.
I at least have a decent starting point, but its going to get interior, body, and performance mods.

    intercooler goes here..

Planning a forged 6.0, big fuel system, alot of boost, suspension upgrades, etc.
By the way, this truck weighs 3800 the way it sits. Hopefully, I can get more off of it so it comes in below 4000 with me and the 6.0 in it.

the truck looks clean from the outside! I like the older body sportside look like you have there! shine up those yellowed headlamps with a buffer and it'll look even better. Good luck with your turbo swap!!

Allen's was right around 3800 with the LS1. If you got an LS2 then you would have 6.0L and lightweight aluminum. My next setup will probally be LS2 based. My Mom has a 2002 Trailblazer that wants an LS2 real bad! Just dreaming! BTW you will love having an older body truck with new power plant. It really turns heads!

Did you get those racing seats today?

He gets reved at more in that truck than any car Ive ever been in.
I was w/ him one day when a crouch rocket bike was trying to get him to race.
I don,t think the 4.3L and long trow 5speed was going to do much.
    SOON TO COME!!!!

Pulled my carb'd 4.3L & TH350 out of my OBS Silvy ('86 RCSB C10). Got my 5.3L & 4L60E on Tuesday evening with engine harness, fuse block, and all accessories. I'm waiting on my starter, VSS & PCM. Transmission-wise, I was surprised that the yoke on my stock driveshaft fit the A4. Too bad the driveshaft is 1.5" too short. Could use some help with wiring.

Nice truck... Starting to see more and more OBS trucks getting NBS engine swaps.

Yeah, I did an LS1 swap a couple years ago in my 92 to replace the LT1 I did 9 years ago.

Don't know why you're wasting time and $ on a swap. I've driven that truck and it's very fast. The interior is like new and very clean. However, I could be remembering the exact opposite to block out bad memories.

All BS aside, it will be awesome when it's done. Get the combo perfect, then I'll copy it into my truck.

Brandon, I knew I should not have let you drive it. The power and comfort are addicting, not to mention the booming stereo.

This is what it feels like with the lightest touch of the gas!!
