Swapped from 4.8 to 408, 60e to 80e, removed spare tire and hoist, g80 pulled out and truetrac installed and added the STS. Oh, added 2" drop shackles and removed the spacer blocks under the rearend. Also added the driver's information center control panel to the dash since the wiring was already there.

Skateboard grip tape works wonders. Just slap some on the outside of the charger pipe so when it slides into the coupling, it sticks to it - and with the hose clamp it won't blow off. It's a cheap fix that works. I guess us rear-mount guys are a dying breed. I like my STS kit, just don't like their customer service or lack there of - which is why these days I source my parts everywhere but STS.

I have had GOOD luck with pipes... all BS aside... I have only lost charge pipes 5-6 times since i built my turbo kit... and it only blows off after i change something... I think my truck has 8 couplings.. and at least 20 clamps... 2 reducers ...

BTW, I noticed you have the STS oil pump. I know from personal experience that the STS oil pump is crap. I would HIGHLY recommend the ExaPump, which is what I use.

50' of wrap is only $35 at Orielly's, on sale right now. Bought two rolls but only needed part of one since Billy donated some partial rolls. The black silicone spray was $11 and stunk to high heaven as it heated up.
