Thread: wiring harness price

    i just asked superior for a quote for my harness and they said it would be around 500$..is that about what i should expect to pay? http://www.superiorharnesscompany.com/
    Project: 91' short wide:
    GMC front end update with billet grille and all clears, 17x8 & 17x11 Torq Thrust II's
    5/7 drop, almost totally shaved and 93 Deville tails
    Future Plans: 2001 LQ4 6.0L & a T-56

    DD: 98' 5 speed GT : Dumped Exhaust, CAI

    For a LS1 swap get your harness from ALLEN @ NELSONS PERFORMANCE for the same price. The harness he builds is bad ass.

    This is what the truck harness looks like, but with truck injector clips.

    Cost is $550, nice looking harness, and very easy to install!!

    Can you build one in red or blue heat shrink. That would be cool.

    i have the original 01' PCM from that motor, where is the best place that i can get it reprogramed, and what besides for the VATS thing should i have removed, adjusted..ect.? Also will i have any problems when i remove the old computer(problems with spedo, ABS, other electrical stuff) or do i need to? thanks

    There is alot more than just the vats. Rear O2s, so on and so on.

    Allen Nelson is a great friend of mine as well as a great tuner. He will do you right and he has done quite a few tunes for swaps like yours. You can't go wrong with Nelson's. He has an awesome wireing harness too if you need one for your swap. :edit: Running a couple of post behind as usual LOL!
