    flex fuel injectors

    ok i have a 06 5.3 and ive come across a set of flex fuel injectors for next to nothing. ive been told these injectors are bigger then my stock injectors with these and tuning what could i gain? i havent got a cam or anything put in yet

    What is the part # on the injectors?
    They are bigger, but you won't see any gains unless you need them. If they aren't tuned right, you will be worse off than when you started. You will have to adapt your existing plugs to the style on these injectors.

    The flex fuel injectors are different plugs? I didn't know that...
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    i dont have the part number cuz i havent bought them from the guy yet im looking at going with a bigger cam later and didnt know if it would be a decent investent to have them on hand for later down the road

    Yeah, depending on the cam you pick you may need the slightly bigger injectors. I put some on my 6.0 for the same reason. I had them and I know I will need them once I put a cam in.
