Hey Guys,
I def understand why you have to have a certain amount of post and time on the site for scamming and spamming folks, to at least try to weed them out.
I dont get this:
Ive been a member for about 2 months now. I have a RCSB i want to swap a 6.0 into.
Unfortunatley im slightly unemployed suddenly, so i dont feel i have a lot to offer as i cant really go forward with any mods right now. So ill watch and not post.Waiting till I post more doesnt really help my current cash-flow situation.

I think there should be instances where the rules are a tid bent etc...

I propose a new rule. Whining about the rules should be forbidden. Allow people to pm a mod about any rule issues.
I think this should apply to the classified section rules only.

Now money is even thinner, and i have a set of GM rims ive been sitting on and i figure this would be a place to sell them. But i cant cause i dont have enough posts. Waiting till I post more doesnt really help my current cash-flow situation.

I edited your post since it essentially advertised that you were wanting to sell something. A rule is a rule. There are reasons for the rules. An unfortunate situation doesn't come close to justify bending the rules. Every forum has a similar rule because it helps weed out scammers and cheats. It doesn't get them all, but it definitely helps.

In fact, one could argue that a new member that 1.) no one knows and 2.) is in a difficult situation and in need of funds, is likely is a bigger threat than a member that is not in a difficult situation.

Sorry for your situation...hopefully it improves.

Im not a threat to anybody, as a few more posts and ill have the 30 needed, but as i said i was just expressing my opinion.

You know i notice a couple of you have posts numbering in the thousands. Are you not really "in" to having more members on the site?
Because as a NOOB I dont really feel that welcome. So I should post more but when i do im whining.
Im not asking for a dang handout, and being a bit strappped for cash and wanting to get rid of part/parts that do me no good right, is not cool?

Dont take any of the rude jokes made by members here serious or personal there just pullin ur chain.
But on ur thread a rule is a rule and if the mods change it for one they would have to change it for everybody. Just try to understand where they are caming from..

1) Danger is unemployed himself. You stating that you were unemployed could make people see you as someone who is desperate for cash and more likely to do something stupid.

2) Getting 30 posts isn't hard. Surely you have some sort of input. Jesus, go to the pics/vids and say NICE, +1, or whatever suits you on half the topics and you're done.

3) Maybe it's just me, but I really don't care if you know anything or not. For all I care, you could be one of those people who needs someone else to check your tire pressure. Just follow the rules, don't complain, and when you've met the requirements, post.
