New exhaust from headers to tail pipe cat question

So I’ve been trying to design a new exhaust system in my head and this is what I cam up with
    Start:
    Pacesetter lt’s
    Pacesetter y pipe
Magnaflow high flow 3 inch id cat (because I have to pass inspection every year)
    Magnaflow 3 inch muffler
    Turndown tail pipe
    End

Would running a single 3 inch id cat hurt performance more then the stock 2 cat y pipe?

good to hear, the funny thing is when modding my truck I didn’t want to start with exhaust, I wanted to start with the 4l60e but a set of Pacesetter lt’s fell into my lap for a really really low price. What could I do

My truck passed inspection without the cats. Just get a Nelson Tune to turn off the SES and you're good to go.
