    Help picking an intake manifold

Hi, were still in process with the 408 build, we bought a 90mm edlebrock throttle and it is obvious that to take advantage of the throttle body were going to need a new intake manifold. Any suggestions on what brand of manifold would work well, also are we going to run into problems with the stock fuel rail or anything else? Thanks again for your guys advice, it is always very helpful!

need to know more info. nitrous motor? forced induction? what accessories (truck or car?) provide anything that you think may matter. what size cam, what compression, where are you goint to shift etc etc etc.

    old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408
new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (

N/A motor, 10.2:1 compression, this is for a 99 silverado, shortbox full weight, 224/220 cam, stock aluminum heads with mild porting.

It's going to mainly used for hauling and a daily driver, nothing ridiculous, my dad just wants more torque for towing then the little 5.3 that he has now .

What about the FAST intake manifold? We are thinking of sending the 90mm throttle body back and going with a FAST 92mm intake manifold and TB. Anyone know much about them?

i would put the OEM truck intake manifold on that motor and call it a day. truck manifold is under rated IMO.

You could use the Edelbrock pro flo intake,Part#7139.You will need the fuel rails that go with it too.
