go check your local chevy dealer and see if they have any newer stock wheels that will work for you..i say, save some more money and buy the wheels you really want..my

The problem with new stock wheels is that they want like 200 to 300 a piece for them. I like these wheels, I just was wondering if anyone else thinks they will look good. I am not into a lot of bling, I want a clean sporty looking truck. If I had to go with bling, I would want either some boyd's or the gun metal amreican racing torque thrust st wheels. At least with these I will get a different look and be able to afford them a lot sooner. Thanks for all the input guys.

A lot of times the dealer will have take-offs from new vehicles for about $700. That's hard to beat since they are brand new.

yeah thats what i meant to call them take offs..i have a buddy that works at a local chevy place and said that he could sell me a set of the polished GMC wheels for $175-- for all four wheels minus tires..i was going to put them on my suburban but my dad didnt want to buy another new set of tires..but id save your money for some of the gun metal american racing torq thrust II's like these right>>>>>>>>????

and here is a link to a brand new set on ebay Torq Thrust ST's

Oh and if you want a 2/2 drop go for the 2/4 ..its not that much more work and lowers/levelsit out at the same time..my

I always say 'Bling don't make it sing'. My buddy rock crawls with his Jeep and has a sticker that says 'Chrome won't get ya home'. In other words, you can bling a truck up all you want and have an '82 GMC with a Corvette motor and STS Turbo (now where have I seen one of those...?) dust your chaps.

So if you like the black wheels, go with 'em! I'm leaning in that direction to, but may get more of a dark grey/graphite color. I like the dark look...

Do you have any pics of the ones your looking at? I just figured for $200 for a set of wheels it will get me something a little different, and if I ever get new wheels they will be good backups, or wheels for going to the track.

Why don't you just paint the stock wheels black? Do you have alloys or the steel ones?
