im going to be putting a set of pacesetter longtube headers on my truck and i was wondering what all was needed for the instal like a y-pipe or can i just use my stock stuff.And will i be able to pass inspection with the headers

I'd get stainless headers first of all. Get you couple band clamps so you don't crimp the sh!% out of you new bling. Plus it will seal better. Where do you live?

I think you can get the pacesetter y pipe to mate up to your stock cat-back. I just built a whole dual exhaust behind mine and threw the rest out

get a custom build y-pipe around ur tranny, and get it weld it, so you dont have trouble later on dropping the tranny
.. don't worry about inspection - mine passed with open headers and loud ass cam..
