I believe you can use the ls6 springs, but if I were you I would do 918s or even dual patriot golds. Something tough, in case you ever wanted to get crazy you already have the springs in

Depends on the lift of the cam. I used LS6 Yellow Spring for my cam install and my cam lift was .550/.550 lift. Yellow Springs are good till .550" that's why I got those specs on the cam.
ive heard the ls6 springs are good up to .570 and my lift on my cam is .554 an i have no issues
