    6.0 Swap

I have a 99 5.3 with 80,000 miles on it, is it worth the time and money to put a 6.0L in it, or should I wait and spend a little more money and get an
LS1/LS6. The 5.3 in the truck now is ok, starting to hear rattles and some off noises. Let me know what you think. And is the swap over to a 6.0 hard.
This swap wouldnt be till the current motor goes out, but i just want to see what people are doing.

very true.. nothing better that bigger displacement. What should i look for in price and maybe some areas of the motor i should check for when i go look for one out of the scrap yard. Also is there an easy way to tell it apart from other vortecs out there.

isnt that behind the alt bracket though? may not be able to tell in a junk vehicle.

Just look for any 2500 gas truck. or ss silverados.
