    Water pump information... ???

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn the steel neck on the truck water pump? Have any idea what the press is on that? Any info would be very helpful! I'm going to be running a water to oil heat exchanger and it would be much nicer if I could face it toward the back.

grab on with a pipe wrench and push it over while tapping the water pump with a brass hammer. it will slowly turn

Just got it out. Just tapped it with a rubber mallet back and forth a few times while turning it with the pipe wrench slowly. It broke loose, then just wiggled it back and forth and it came right out. I'm gonna knurl it and put some blue loctite on it and put it back in its new orientation. Thanks!
