    4L80e swap on 2wd rcsb

What yoke and U-joint is needed to for the 4l80e swap on a 2wd rcsb without shortening the stock 4l60e driveshaft?

So far I have come with part numbers on yokes but not sure if they will be a direct fit on the 4l80e

Never heard of being able to do it without shortening the shaft. Bump for somebody who has done it.

depends on what driveshaft you have. If you have the aluminum shaft you probably have 1310 joints, 1.062" caps. There are two different size TH400 yokes, one has 1330 joints and the other has 1350 joint. There is a conversion ujoint from 1310 to 1330 and another one from 1330(1-1/8") to 1350(1-3/16"). I bought the longest one Spicer makes in 1350 size. It was about an inch too long so I cut 1" off the yoke.

Will this fit on my conversion to the 80e?

LS Series Flexplate 12621399 - Crate Engine Depot

Just found the hard way converter not bolt to LS flex plate, and stays way too far.

wow, that looks extremely weak. You need the flexplate, spacer and longer bolts. Since that all comes with it, that is one hell of a good price.

This is for the earlier model 80e transmissions with the non-LS1 flexplate
