LOL...nothing at all, I'm just trying to see what my options are. And if i need to do anything to these heads before I put them on the 5.3 in my truck. From what I understand 243 heads on a 5.3 the CR is 9 to 1. I'm not going to be running FI or NOS. Will I be ok with running them stock or should I have them milled and if so how much?

Someone will surely chime in on the exacts. But I believe You can get 10 to 1 cr on a 5.3 and still be able to use them on a Ls1 later on. If nothing else when you got it taken apart put a set of 4.8 pistons in to raise compression that way...

I ran 243s on my 5.3 and had them milled .040 which put the CR about 9.9-10.0 to one with stock mls gaskets. It made a big difference at higher rpm.
