    Is there a substitute

    for the AUTO-TRAK II t-case fluid, or am i stuck having to special order that stuff??

    Guess ya gotta go to the dealership, explain what it is to the parts guy, wait for him to get the parts manager, look up the wrong fluid, he says "well we aint got it", you turn to leave and its on the shelf behind you.

    we keep that stuff stocked, just because no part store (locally that is) has any compareable fluid, and IIRC it ain't no 5 dollars a quart

    I would be shocked if your dealer didn't have it in stock.

    good thing i didnt dump atf in my t case, that makes me a liar then, my friend told me that AUTO-TRAK II t-case fluid is all that will work in our avalanches and i argued with him and told him how dumb he was for buying it at a dealer
    procharger p1sc, nelson tune, 42# marine injectors, walbro 255, lt's, ory, 4" volant cat back, PerformaBuilt level 2 pro race trans, trans. cooler with e fan, 2500 stall, aem wideband, energy bushings, spohn perf. trailing and panhard rods, mb & gear alloy 22's ( ya 2 sets, im big ballin), ss brake lines, drilled & slotted rotors, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla,
    and ya it will beat a hemi.

    I've been running Mobil 1 Full synthetic atf in mine with over 80 thousand miles and no problems.

    Had regular ATF in mine for thousands of miles no issues.

    Never used that stupid auto 4wd any way. Thats all its for. Must be some metalics or something for the clutch discs in there.

    i have royal purple atf in mine and everything works fine. been about 5000 miles.
