, is it linked to a computer like an auto? every thing my avy. dose is linked to a computer, the difference in gear ratios and the extra gear might be throwing something into safe mode, might need a tune? or a really big hammer.

really big hammer... ha but from what iv been told by numerous local shops is that the abs system on our trucks runs completely seperate from everything else. it even has its own computer. so with that, a regular code scanner cant come up with the correct codes to pull for the abs system. so i have to either go to the dealer, find a shop with one of them expensive scanners, or get reallly lucky and find a buddy who has one. unless, hptuners can read abs codes? anyone know about this? the reason asking is i have to already get a tune for the t56 and theres the possibility that the tuner can pull the code? does this sound correct?

hptuners cannot read ABS, SIR, BCM, HVAC codes etc.. only PCM codes.
I also have autoenginuity and it can read all the above.

i think autozone loans the abs scanners out, just have to pay the deposit

my truck was a auto before i put my 6 speed in. i have the same problem. i thought it was because my speddo is way off now. im pretty sure its the spped sensor on the tranny not seeing the same signal from the front abs sensor

You need a tune for the T-56, the speed sensors operate differently, the ABS gets its speed readings from the PCM.
