    XM/Ipod Jack

You guys who are running a 03 and up chevy with xm radio have to wait no more for the quality of sound with your ipod through your car stereo! You don't need any expensive wiring harness or any fm modulators. I plan on selling a few of these as i can find the parts to build them. So if you would like on just shoot me a pm!
Here is what i started with:

I took some wire and connected it to the correct places to hook up to the black 12 pin connector on the back of the radio (brwn/wht, black/wht, dk green, wht):

After hooking all the wires up and mounting the 1/8 stereo phone jack all you do is plug in a patch cord found at radio shack and attach your ipod or iphone or even any mobile media device with that has a phone jack just like head phones, and play your favorite music.

and this is the same set up i did on a tbss. This mod will also work on all tbss from 06-08 with xm radio. The xm still shows the artist and all the info but the jack bypasses the signal and uses the input signal until it is disconnected.

I am going to do a few more and make them clean and use some shrink wrap, and use all different color wires to make the install easy. I also want to check the durability and quality of the parts i used before selling them. If any of you guys would like me to make you one just pm me and ill figure up the details of how much i have in them and come up with a price ready for you to install into your vehicle. Thanks for looking!

I got lucky and got a PIE interface for our 2003 Tahoe on eBay for $40. This might be a good low cost alternative though.
