I am trying to swap a 5.3 into my 91 K1500. I have been over at LS1tech for a while.

I need an intake and fuel rails/injectors for my 5.3. Can I use the rails and injectors from a 4.8, or an LS1?

You can use the fuel rails from the 4.8L on any intake from a 6.0/5.3/4.8, the ls1's won't fit unless you use the ls1 intake.
check ebay for the intake, or post up and i'm sure there are enough radix owners who don't need their intakes anymore.

btw, if you need a harness for that swap, give me a shout!

    thanks,

    allen

Thanks for the reply. I am looking for a factory harness right now, but I'm leaning towards tackling that issue on my own right now. I've been reading quite a bit lately between several message boards on the swap.

I bought the engine without an intake or fuel rails/injectors, so I've got to go about finding those first.

I have an intake and fuel rails from an 01 Silverado, but no injectors or fuel pressure regulator, i'll sell you cheap if you can't find a complete setup.

Hey Fst, I did my own wiring harness as well. It really isnt that hard as long as you got the schematic, but trust me is a long and frustrating process. My truck runs but there is wires everywhere. So if you do it yourself I hope is only temporary. An aftermarket one will make the swap alot faster, Im getting one when I get back to the US. Good luck.
    Had a 91 SB, Open diff, 3.08 gears, stock LS1/T56. 14.8@95.9...sold.
    Now, 90 C1500 350tbi/NV3500....just bought a 5.3...need T56, Swap parts.....
