    here's a link to calculate the engine rpm. Final drive ratio at the bottom secton of the webpage should be set to .700 for 4th gear. Use the last section to calculate your engine RPM once you figure out what tire diameter you actually have. 255/75/16, I couldn't find that size tire listed but calculates at 31" diameter.

    That's right...its the big solenoid at the front between the pump/valvebody with the copper coils around it...

    I just got home and I'm catching up to the posts I didn't see,

    My tire size is 255/70/R16

    Using the rpm calculator, @ 70 mph, I should be at 1,816 rpm. On my way home I was around 2,100 rpm. I guessing I have a small issue. Like I said before, I'll get the truck into AAMCO and have them look at it. I hate to say this but I know it's going to be a fight with them but it must be done.
