    It will come from there. His truck wasn't originally equipped with cruise, so he has to add the components.

    Ok what do you mean by adding components? I i use the cruise module and turn signal from my year truck it should all plug right up. Is there something else I have to add besides a longer cable?

    You are adding the cruise module and turn signal switch right?

    Ok he made it sound like more. Thanks. So the cruise module controls pretty much the cruise. Whats the talk of the pcm controlling it? Is that just on newer styles or something?

    vehicles with the electronic throttle body, the PCM controls the cruise since it can so easily. There are no provisions on the ETB to hook a cable so the cruise had to be internal to the PCM to handle cruise functionality.
