Hello,
I am wonderin something. I have a 2000 silverado with a 5.3 and I have installed an intake manifold from a 2007 suburban and an edelbrock 90mm throttle body. I reused the stock fuel rail, did so by cutting it in the middle and splicing it together, and stock injectors. Do I need to install bigger injectors and if so what injectors, brand and part number, should I use? I currently have a Diablosport U7198 programmer installed but am putting back pennies to get myselft an HP Tuner. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and keep up the good work. I have been watching for quite sometime but this is my first post.
4.8/5.3/6.0 share the same 24 lb injectors, flex fuel motors have 36 lb

what years, or how would I tell if I have the bigger flex fuel injectors?(probaly dont) There is a sticker on the inside of my fuel filler door with an icon that shows E85/unleaded, doese that mean anything? I thought that flex fuel motors were later 2000''s ? mines an 03 5.3.

U might wanna create a new post, you'll get more answers.
Depends on how much HP your engine is making.
If it's all stock, with light bolt-ons, the stock ones will be fine.
IF your setup has a cam and headers, maybe a set of 8.1L 30lb inj and a walbro pump will be good enough.
Heads/cam, etc, you'll need 42's.
I need to post up pics of various injectors and descriptions, but if they are the typical truck style connector that almost all 99-00 trucks are equipped with, they are probably 24lb'ers.
The flex fuel inj have that little square connector.
