I'll try and scan that page for you tonight.
Step 3 asks is the fuse open.
Is it?
Open when discussing fuses means blown.
Is it?
If so the chart will have you search for shorts. If it's not open it will have you check the power supply circuit to the fuse for an OPEN.
Most likely you have a bad ignition switch if the fuse is OK.
Take a deep breath and don't make it harder than it is.
ttt Im still driving the 09 silverado meanwhile I wanna get the other one fixed
I unplugged all the connectors to the transmission, as well as i played with the harness..moving it from the engine to tranny..
I unplugged the battery 10 minutes, started the truck back, cleared the codes and the truck ran fine for two weeks, the same codes came back again!
no more 1-2 gear in two wheel drive, but I have the 1-2 in awd and 4x4
pretty weird!!
please help me!!
Really appreciate the confidence you guys are giving me!!! thanks
Why would an ignition swith cause transmission silenoid codes?
Can someone find me a ignition switch off the internet...
a link or something that would direct me to buying one ...the right one..
But before I need to make sure it is the switch....
