    Ok so i think ive found a combo i like hows a228/230 with 3000 stall 410s longtubes nelson tune stock throttle body and valvetrain upgrade sound?

    youll need a bigger stall with that setup in a 4.8. also i would run a steeper gear. that combo wont run as hard as it needs to be with that near stock stall and 410s

    4.8 is a motor that lacks lowend, youll need a large stall and gears to help it get to where it actually makes power.

    I kinda dont wanna go ne bigger what if i ran a 220/220 with a 3000 410s nelson tune and longtubes would that work?

    that would work just dont expect the 4.8 to be as fast as others. a 4k isnt no were near as bad as some believe it is

    Damn ok so if i run the first setup i said the 228/230 get a 4000 stall 456s and tune and longtubes how much power will i be pushing?

    and how streetable would this setup be i drive this truck everyday and i dont wanna be goin for broke fixing stuff and buying gas...

    streetable is all in who tunes the setup. as for cruising with a 30" tall tire expect at 70 mph to cruise about 2300 rpms with 456s.

    gas mileage will also be determined to how the tune is setup in cruise mode

    any other upgrades u can think of i think im going to run this setup 228/230 cam 4000 stall nelson tune double roller timing chain chromoly pushrods beehive valve springs nelson tune longtube stainless headers and 456s?

    Mods sound pretty good! There are some others I would recommend...only cause I run them and know the benefits. I would say to add e-fans, a larger/ported TB, and underdrive pulleys.
