it takes a 150 shot, 6.2, 6l80 and exhaust to get one to do a 12.70.........
or at least that combo will reach 12.70s

Mines not a NNBS but my combo has gotten me deep into the 13's

Well, Vortech's first vts system on a 08 scsb bone stock made 452 HP and 444TQ. I let them borrow my truck to do some testing (in exchange for a price reduction) and fine tuning to squeeze some more power out (they had it for 3 months but they never gave me the dyno results. I am assuming the power might be slightly higher than the 08 scsb because of the non restrictive muffler. you can see the video of the 08' on vortechs website.
I am looking to buy the offroad lt's from doug thorley and a cam from comp cams-i just havent picked one out yet. I'm browsing around for a corvette servo, torque converter and shift kit...any suggestions? I narrowed it down to tci, monster and patc.
And what's the difference with the 1-2 servo and the 3-4 servo? can you get a servo that improves shifts in all gears?
For the TQ conv. i think im gonna go with the circle d 11"
No i hav'nt ran the 1/4 yet. I'm afraid of what numbers i would turn lol. probably 15's?
Here's what you need:
- Get a real tune not a handheld
- Get rid of the Flows and get a better flowing exhaust. It's significant!
- Get a fully built trans or swap to a 4l80e. Servo's and shift kits won't cut it at the power level you'll need to be at.
- Get a stall somewhere in the 2600 range.
- Pulley down!
You should be able to get into the high 13's with what you have now providing that you are making at least 350rwhp. If you want 12's, see above....and you'll need at least 420rwhp.
The other factor will be how good you can get off the line. You'll need some sticky tires of some sort to put the power to the ground.
