The money pot wasn't , who broke and drove far... a lot of ppl drove far, ppl broke stuff, who cares, that's the game.
What is so hard about understanding 1300miles is less than 1350miles!
How the hell did anyone who didn't travel further than the furthest traveled get jipped!

If we're gonna have ppl crying about it this year, we just won't have it, jeeez guys!

Just remember why we might not have it!
I guess I was never even in the running then since I paid cash at the gate since it was a last minute deal for me. My biggest beef was the first post of the thread last year was the truck should be driven and make a pass or burn out, which I did and it was my understanding that the money was given to a guy who trailered from the Keys. Was that not the case?

Everyone was telling me I got screwed, so that's why I felt that way... If you felt like you got screwed out of a couple hundred bucks would you not be pissed??? And no one would clarify what the rules were and why it was given to who it was. If you would have done that last year, I would have been fine with it, but instead you chose to not respond to any of it.

If your gonna have an award, it should be clear as to what the rule are, not just give it to who ever you want and not say anything about it...

If your gonna have rules, you should clearly post them, so EVERYONE knows what they are

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but just wanted to make sure this kinda thing doesn't happen to someone again and everyone feels like they have been treated fairly,
    ----------------------------------------------
Edit: If you would have addressed the issue in this thread, all would have been understood, but you didn't... That is why I felt the way I do about how it was handled.

Edit2: If I had know it was based purely on your Paypal account address from the beginning, then I would have never even brought it up . Now that I know this, as far as I'm concerned, this is now all in the past and forgotten. Time to go fast!

I think you did as a person coming to the event as well, lol. My beef was just what the rules were and how it was decided... So this year, I think I'll get my brother in Alaska to pay my entry fee from his Paypal address up there!! LOL!!!

"I think the truck has to be driven, needs to make a pass, and would be cool to see it do a burnout."

^^^ I understand this as driven... you have to drive it to make a pass, no... maybe? Who are you pissed at anyway a whole year later? It sucks and was bad luck for you but maybe you should trailer yours in case of another tranny failure... It could happen to anyone.

Sorry guys... I won't be donating to the furtest traveled this year...
