I fell that unless your stockers are in poor shape, you won't gain much.
But heck, if you're willing to try them... let us know the results.![]()

I think the e-3's will have the same effect as putting bosch platinum plugs in. I have so many people come into the shop after they did their "own tune up" and someone at the auto parts store pushed the bosch plugs on them and they cant figure out why their car runs worse. You pull the bosch plugs out and put the stockers in and it runs fine. Ill stick to my stock plugs. If the e-3's did perform better it would probably be in a very high powered vehicle with an extremely hot ignition or the difference would be so insignificant that you wouldnt even be able to feel the difference. Thats just my opinion im very sceptical of spending 4 times as much for spark plugs that may or may not work. I would rather buy the stock plugs and spend the money i saved not buying the expensive plugs on a 12 pack to drink while i do my tune up.![]()

RIP 2005 VHO ecsb 6.0HO, Comp Cam, Nelson Tune, OBX LT's.
Splitfire, E-3, +4, I really don't think they do much of anything that you'll ever notice. Maybe if you ran in a lab on a dyno you could see the diff when the computer prints it out.

1/4 mile times on stock GM tune at HRP on 11/14/04 (tuned on the 15th so will just hafta go again!!!
While switching to the E3 did increase the gas milage of my truck by 1-2 mpg per the bully dog before i bought it from my roomate. He added some fuel system cleaner to the tank and it fouled the out of the plugs. Cause it to throw a multiple random miss fire code that felt like a coil pack going out. It took me a hot minute to figure it out. Another downside to the E3 is that you cannot gap them. You will get optimum power out of a correctly gaped iridium and then you can even squeeze a few more out of it if you index your plugs.

E3 plugs shield the spark. That's never a good thing.

Gimmick, they can't convince people to change their sparks plugs at regular intervals so they invent gimmicky plugs that they can convince people will gain 100 hp.
these plugs with multiple ground electrodes do have an advantage of a more consistent spark. Since electricity flows to the path of least resistance and the heat of the spark traveling through the electrode heats it and causes more resistance it will switch between electrodes. But this is not good for tuners since you cant gap them
